Coach Kevin Coggin
Information
Coach Kevin Coggin brings over 25 years of youth coaching experience to City SC Utah South, with a background that includes both competitive soccer and AAU basketball. His passion for soccer grew when his oldest daughter began playing at age five, leading him to coach club soccer across multiple age groups on both the boys’ and girls’ sides.
Coach Kevin holds a U.S. Soccer E License and focuses on player development through technical growth, game understanding, confidence, accountability, teamwork, and life skills. Throughout his coaching career, he has worked within several competitive club environments across multiple states.
His accomplishments include winning Tennessee Division 3 State Championships in 2021 with the 2007 Girls team and again in 2023 with the 2010 Girls team. Most recently, while coaching at Saratoga Springs FC, he helped guide the 2013 Girls Valkyrie team from Division 2 into Division 1 competition.
Coach Kevin is passionate about helping players continue progressing, competing at higher levels, and developing confidence both on and off the field.
