About Coach Albert:
Coach Albert Mincitar brings over 14 years of coaching experience and a lifelong background in high-level competitive soccer to City SC Utah South. His playing experience includes club soccer, Olympic Development Program (ODP), high school, and semi-professional competition, giving him a strong understanding of player development, tactical systems, and competitive performance.

Coach Albert currently holds a U.S. Soccer C License and has experience founding and managing soccer clubs while helping organize multiple UYSA-sanctioned tournaments. He is known for creating structured, competitive, and positive training environments focused on technical growth, tactical understanding, discipline, and player confidence.

Passionate about developing the complete athlete, Coach Albert emphasizes leadership, accountability, teamwork, and strong work ethic while helping players maximize their potential both on and off the field.

About Coach Matt:
Coach Matt brings a strong passion for player development and a competitive soccer background to City SC Utah South. Originally from Seattle, Washington, he played for elite clubs including HSA and South County FC, competed at Auburn Mountainview High School, earned league honors as a midfielder, and made multiple State Tournament appearances. He also trained in professional environments connected to Seattle Sounders FC and received collegiate opportunities from Oregon State University and Highline College.

Since moving to Utah, Coach Matt has developed a reputation for building strong relationships with players and helping young athletes grow both on and off the field. During his time coaching premier soccer in Utah, his team achieved a Top-10 state ranking and multiple successful tournament and league finishes.

Coach Matt is currently pursuing his U.S. Soccer D License and is excited to continue developing players within the modern development pathway at City SC Utah South. His coaching philosophy focuses on building confident, hardworking, and mentally strong players who love the game.

About Coach Tony:
Coach Tony brings 17 years of coaching experience, passion, and energy to City SC Utah South. A graduate of Utah Valley University with a degree in Communications, Tony is known for building strong relationships with athletes and helping players reach their potential both on and off the field.

Coach Tony has spent many years coaching at Westlake High School and currently serves as the Men’s Sophomore Head Coach, leading his team to a Sophomore Cup finalist appearance this season. He currently holds a U.S. Soccer National D License and is continuing his coaching education while pursuing his National C License.

His coaching style emphasizes high-energy, competitive, and fast-paced training sessions that challenge players to think quickly, move intelligently, and play with confidence. Coach Tony focuses on possession-based soccer, quick decision-making, movement off the ball, and team-oriented play designed to prepare players for long-term success.

Above all, Coach Tony is passionate about developing confident players who love the game, compete at a high level, and build winning habits that carry into all areas of life.

About Coach Isaac:
Coach Isaac Farfan is a Saratoga Springs resident originally from Venezuela with a strong passion for player development, discipline, and leadership through soccer. Isaac advanced through the youth levels in Venezuela before competing professionally with Caracas Fútbol Club, one of the country’s most recognized soccer organizations.

In addition to his playing background, Isaac has extensive coaching and educational experience. He has worked with youth players across multiple age groups, including coaching within Caracas FC youth programs and Santa Rosa de Lima School in Venezuela.

Isaac holds a Venezuelan Class “A” Coaching License and has continued his coaching education in the United States through 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11 licensing courses. He also earned a diploma in Physical Preparation and Conditioning for High-Performance Athletes, helping strengthen his approach to technical, physical, and mental player development.

Fluent in Spanish and experienced working with athletes from diverse backgrounds, Coach Isaac is passionate about helping young players grow both on and off the field while building confidence, character, discipline, and a love for the game.

About Coach Ty:
Ty's coaching philosophy is simple: kids need more soccer, in more forms, with more friends. Named after a Heisman Trophy winner and raised to be a football player, Ty was always destined for the beautiful game. A four-year varsity standout and Idaho State Leading Scorer at Madison Senior High School, his playing career took him from the Madison Dragons amateur league to a roster spot at BYU — until a severe knee injury ended his competitive career.

What followed was a different kind of soccer life: ten years coaching, four kids in the game, 20 years officiating matches up to the collegiate level, and a weekly community street soccer pickup in Saratoga Springs that he hosts for any kid willing to play. Over four years in Utah state competitive soccer, his teams have been promoted in 9 of 12 seasons and won their division three times.

Ty is a father-coach, a USSF-licensed coach (currently pursuing his C License), the owner of Cobra Shinguards, a Real Salt Lake season ticket holder, and a believer that the next generation of American players will be built on the courts and the streets — not just the cones and the grids.

Ty will lead our 2013 Boys beginning the 2026/2027 season. Welcome aboard, Coach!

About Coach Nick:
Coach Nick brings 15 years of experience coaching youth soccer, from four-year-olds in their first year of rec to graduating seniors in their last year of club.

Nick has been coaching club soccer for 12 years, holding various director roles in clubs in both Utah and Idaho. For the past two years, he has been a director over a local youth academy and is excited to bring his enthusiasm and contagious love for the game to kids who are just starting out at City SC Utah South.

Coach Nick holds a USSF D License and focuses on developing players’ technical abilities and understanding of the tactics of the game. He engages all players in a way that makes them feel like a valued member of the team and produces well-rounded kids that understand and perform at a high level in multiple positions on the field.

One of the things Nick’s players love most about him is that he shows up to practice in cleats, ready to put in the work right alongside them. His cleats-on approach helps them understand exactly what they’re supposed to be doing and how to do it.

We’re excited to officially welcome Coach Jack Kingsford to the growing City SC Utah South, City SC Utah, and City SC Metro family!

Soccer has been a major part of Coach Kingsford’s life for over a decade, both as a coach and as a father of four active players. What began as supporting his own children quickly turned into a passion for coaching, mentoring, and helping players grow on and off the field. He holds a USSF C License, is currently pursuing his USSF B License, and is fluent in Spanish, allowing him to connect with a wide range of players and families.

Growing up playing soccer in Nogales, Coach Kingsford developed a deep love for the game and a competitive mindset that continues to shape his coaching philosophy today. During his high school years, he competed across the state with an undefeated team, experiences that helped fuel his passion for teamwork, discipline, and player development.

Beyond soccer, Coach Kingsford is an experienced educator and current elementary principal whose background strongly influences his player-centered approach to coaching. His experience as a teacher, literacy coach, administrator, and school leader gives him a unique ability to connect with young athletes and create organized, engaging training sessions that maximize learning and development.

Coach Kingsford is passionate about building confidence, strong technical skills, teamwork, leadership, and a lifelong love for the game. His sessions emphasize positive reinforcement, game-like learning environments, ball mastery, and decision-making while helping players grow mentally, physically, and socially. He believes in pushing players beyond what they think is possible while creating an environment where they feel supported and motivated every step of the way.

Family is at the center of everything he does, and alongside his wife Jessica, he is committed to creating a positive soccer community where every player and family feels welcomed and supported.

Coach Rick is a San Diego native who grew up in Southern California. After graduating high school, he served five years overseas with the United States Air Force. That experience instilled in him strong values of discipline, leadership, and service that he now brings to every training session.

With over 15 years of coaching experience, Coach Rick has spent most of his career working with younger players who are just beginning their soccer journey. He loves guiding beginners as they build their first solid fundamentals and develop a real passion for the game. One of his greatest joys is watching a team grow together — learning to trust each other, overcome challenges, and celebrate collective progress.

Coach Rick brings a calm, patient, and encouraging style to the field. His sessions emphasize a positive, supportive environment where players feel safe to try new things, make mistakes, and keep improving. He focuses on strong technical foundations, teamwork, work ethic, and personal character development.

As a leader at City SC Utah South / FC Inter-DA, Coach Rick is deeply committed to developing skilled soccer players who are also young people of strong character — players who live the Club’s values of respect, resilience, effort, and service both on and off the pitch.

About Coach Daniel:
Coach Daniel Winn is a Utah native who grew up in Richfield before moving to Utah County in 2009 to attend Utah Valley University, where he earned his degree in Business Management. He and his wife later settled in Lehi, where he has become actively involved in youth soccer development throughout the community.

Coach Daniel brings over 7 years of youth coaching experience and has mentored and developed coaches across Utah County. In addition to coaching, he continues to compete in adult soccer leagues, keeping his passion and connection to the game strong.

Known for his energetic and fast-paced training environment, Coach Daniel focuses on building confident, resilient players who compete hard while still enjoying the game. His sessions emphasize structure, competitiveness, player development, and fun, while encouraging players to push themselves, build strong relationships with teammates, and grow both as athletes and individuals.

Coach Daniel’s philosophy is simple: When players truly love the game and play with confidence, development and success naturally follow.
