Coach Lauren Hier
Information
Coach Lauren Hier has had a lifelong passion for soccer, competing and developing at a high level from a young age. Growing up in California, she played club soccer for Prospector Soccer Club in the Sacramento area, competing in top leagues across the state and helping lead her teams to multiple tournament championships.
At Ponderosa High School, Lauren earned a varsity starting role as a freshman striker and helped lead her team to a CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Championship. Throughout her high school career, she earned multiple top scorer and MVP honors while gaining recognition for her leadership, versatility, and strong understanding of the game.
Lauren later trained at the collegiate level with University of the Pacific before transferring to Utah Valley University, where she completed her degree in Accounting and built her life and family in Utah.
Today, Lauren remains highly active as both an indoor soccer player and marathon runner, bringing energy, discipline, and passion into everything she does. With four years of coaching experience, she focuses on helping young players build strong technical foundations, confidence, soccer IQ, and a true love for the game.
Coach Lauren is passionate about developing confident, disciplined athletes and creating an environment where young players — especially young girls — can grow as leaders both on and off the field.
