Coach Menny Rivera
Information
Coach Menny Rivera brings a lifelong passion for soccer and years of playing and coaching experience to City SC Utah South. Growing up in Mexico, soccer was a part of everyday life, spending countless hours playing in the streets and developing a deep love for the game and its culture.
Coach Menny competed at the collegiate level for over a year before transitioning into coaching, where he spent two years serving as both an assistant and head coach at the college level. After graduating from college in 2012, he earned a Master’s Degree in Philosophy in 2013 while continuing to grow as a coach and mentor.
Over the years, Coach Menny has coached youth teams in both Mexico and the United States, bringing a player-centered approach focused on passion, development, and continuous learning. In 2024, he officially began the U.S. Soccer licensing pathway and currently holds a U.S. Soccer C License.
With a lifetime connected to the game as both a player and coach, Coach Menny is committed to helping players grow technically, mentally, and personally while sharing the same love and passion for soccer that has shaped his own journey.
