Coach Tyler Ackermann

Coach Tyler Ackermann brings an impressive combination of elite playing experience, leadership, and years of coaching experience to City SC Utah South. As a player, he earned First Team All-State honors three consecutive years, helped lead his team to a state championship, and was recognized as Utah’s Gatorade Player of the Year.

Coach Tyler began his coaching career at Cyprus High School, serving as the Junior Varsity Head Coach for three seasons, where his teams consistently finished near the top of the standings. In addition, he has spent nearly a decade coaching youth soccer, helping players of all levels develop confidence, technical ability, and a strong understanding of the game.

His coaching philosophy focuses on discipline, teamwork, player development, and creating a positive environment where athletes can grow both on and off the field. Coach Tyler is passionate about helping young players reach their full potential while building a lifelong love for the game.
